I have been a resident of Belton in Rutland for 20 years. I live at Goose Pasture Farm on College Farm Road with my husband Trevor. Most villagers know this as the Egg Farm. Stepping back from this element of my life and working towards retirement means I can offer up some time to become involved in something else that is worthwhile, so I joined the Parish Council when a vacancy arose. I am passionate about our countryside and have a fairly broad understanding of how farming works in today's climate. I'm sure being on the Parish Council will mean I will have a lot to learn and I am looking forward to this.
